Our Evolution

From Forge to Precision

Densen Power Station Product Development Co., Ltd. was established in June 2005 and specializes in the production of Generator Retaining Ring—a key component of generator sets. The company holds six national invention patents and is ISO 9001:2015 certified. It possesses the production technology and manufacturing capabilities for stainless steel shield ring forgings used in 600–1,200 MW thermal and nuclear power generators, with an annual production capacity of 2,000 shield ring forgings. Since its establishment, the company has supplied tens of thousands of non-magnetic protective ring forgings for various 3–1,000 MW generators and electric motors, as well as protective ring forgings for large naval gas turbines and high-speed train traction motors, to customers.

We are capable of producing:

Our company is equipped with one 1-ton air hammer, one 5-ton forging hammer, one 3-ton forging hammer, one 1-ton forging hammer, and one 3,150-ton hydraulic press.

Raw Material Control

All raw materials used for our forgings are high-quality steel ingots sourced from reputable large-scale steel manufacturers. The quality of steel forgings for pressure vessels complies with NB/T 47008–47010-2010, ASME, and other applicable domestic and international standards. All incoming raw materials are subject to re-inspection and verification in accordance with the relevant standards.

Cutting & Material Preparation

Material preparation is carried out by hot cutting during forging or cold cutting using band saw machines. The company operates eight band saw machines, including machines with cutting capacities of 1,200 × 1,200 mm and 600 × 600 mm.

Our forging furnaces are advanced regenerative gas-fired heating furnaces equipped with electronic temperature control systems. They provide uniform heating and precise temperature control, delivering excellent results even when heating billets made from special materials.During the forging process, forging temperatures are strictly monitored using infrared T1350C thermometers to ensure stable and controlled forging conditions.

Heat Treatment

The company operates the following heat treatment equipment:

  • 11 m × 4 m × 2.5 m gas-fired heat treatment furnace, maximum temperature: 1,200°C

  • 4 m × 3 m × 1.8 m electric resistance furnace, maximum temperature: 1,200°C

  • 3 m × 1.5 m × 1.5 m electric resistance furnace, maximum temperature: 1,200°C

  • 1.5 m × 0.75 m × 0.45 m heat treatment furnace, maximum temperature: 1,000°C

  • 4 m × 13 m, 200 m³ circulating-water quenching tank

  • 4 m × 13 m, 200 m³ oil quenching tank

All heat treatment operations are controlled by computer-based systems with dual recording systems for process monitoring and traceability. All forgings manufactured by the company undergo in-house heat treatment, ensuring consistent quality control throughout the production process.

Under normal circumstances, forged components are delivered after rough machining. The company has vertical lathes with diameters of 1.25 m, 1.6 m, 2.5 m, and 4 m, with two machines of each specification, enabling both rough and finish machining operations.
